Pros: Newbern is a great little town--the old fashioned town where everyone knows everyone or knows someone related to everyone...

Cons: Not a lot of shopping or night life, but that is probably what keeps our town so peaceful.

This is a good place to raise a family, retire, or just enjoy living.
